Born and raised in Toronto, Maricel Dicion’s communications and writing skills were developed at an early age. Winning awards for her short stories and poetry when she was only eight, Dicion knew she was a wizard at words and went on to earn a diploma in journalism at Centennial College and will be graduating from Centennial’s post-grad Corporate Communications and Public Relations program in June 2008. She currently works part-time at 680 News as a news and traffic reporter and is an intern in the media relations department at the Ontario Science Centre.
