Who is Maricel Dicion?
Born and raised in Toronto, Maricel Dicion’s communications and writing skills were developed at an early age. Winning awards for her short stories and poetry when she was only eight, Dicion knew she was a wizard at words and went on to earn a diploma in journalism at Centennial College and recently graduated from Centennial College’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations post-graduate program. She currently works as an account coordinator at Cohn & Wolfe and as a part-time reporter at 680News.
Maricel has gained valuable experience in public relations by working with the Ontario Science Centre’s media relations team as an intern and has also worked with the consumer sector team at Weber Shandwick. Maricel Dicion is a member of the Toronto chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and can be reached via
